Val Meduna, which is situated below the higher valleys of Tramontina and Arzino, and not being a military area, mining or of commercial interest, has for centuries been considered as a completely unspoilt area, attracting various great men in their time to erect fully four castles not more than a mile or two apart.

The "Alle Ruote" Agriturismo (Farmhouse) was set upright in the middle of this area especially to create a convenient and accessible base for visitors and explorers searching for somewhere to really get in touch with the nature and for a journey back in time.

There are seven rooms with bathrooms and a mini apartment in a typical Friulian manor farmhouse which has been elegantly restored, and which has ample parking.

Traditional local cheeses (Montasio and Caprino) and cured meats (salami, pitina and hams) are the main ingredients of our breakfast along with other specialities including honey, billberries and apple juice.

The visitors will find a simple and cosy style of accomodation, a place where you can be sure to feel immediately welcome and at ease, with the opportunity of having guided tours at certain times and seasons of the year, for example, during the selection of grapes and the wine making process.
